When you find yourself in the middle of a storm, when it seems like God has abandoned you, and no one understands what you are going through, what should you be doing in order to have peace in your life right now? TCP is what you need to do!
- Tell God about what you are going thru, ask Him for a solution. Don’t make this a time to complain, that doesn’t get you anywhere. God understands that you are hurting and are in pain. There may be a character development that He wants to take place in your life. Tell God how you feel, you do need to get it out, but then ask Him, how to handle the situation and what character trait or fruit of the spirit that you can grow in during this experience.
- Cast the care of the storm over on God! Once you have talked with God, whether or not He responds immediately does not matter, initiate your faith by casting or throwing the care of this situation over on Him! You do that by constantly speaking the Word of God over your situation. You do it by rejecting the thoughts of despair and hopelessness and replacing them with what God says about you and your situation. Of course you have to spend some time in the Word to know what God said. To cast, you must speak simple as that. Speak the Word of God, not what you see or not even how you feel but speak God’s Word!
- Praise God that He has answered your prayers and is safely guiding you through the storm! Praise is an expression of faith. There will be not deliverance without praise. Praise is a weapon that will defeat the enemy that wants to destroy you and it will employ the angels of God that are commanded to help you! The greater the storm the more intense your praise needs to be.
